Next, the Longhorns confront the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a 2A North challenge, on Friday, October 7. Battle Mountain will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 8-0 league loss to Incline (Incline Village, NV).

The Wolverines now have a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they host North Tahoe for a 2A North challenge on Friday, October 7. West Wendover will confront a Lakers team coming off a 7-1 league win over Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV). The Lakers record now stands at 10-3.
