Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mohigans confront the Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV) in a Ohio Valley (OVAC) challenge, on Monday, October 3. Morgantown will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Bruins enter the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV).

The Patriots now have a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cabell Midland for a Mountain State challenge on Tuesday, October 4. Parkersburg South will confront a Knights team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Washington (Charles Town, WV). The Knights record now stands at 8-6.
