In Saturday's league battle, the host Albuquerque Bulldogs soccer squad scored a good 9-0 win over the Manzano Monarchs.
The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers go into the 5A District 5 battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Los Lunas was overwhelmed by Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 6-1, in a league battle.
The Monarchs (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars go into the 5A District 5 battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Capital was overwhelmed by Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 3-2, in a league battle.
