Athens Wildcats (Athens, PA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Northeast Bradford Panthers (Rome, PA), 4-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Troy Trojans (Troy, PA) in a North Tier challenge, on Thursday, October 6. Athens will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record.

The Panthers now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wellsboro for a North Tier challenge on Tuesday, October 4. Northeast Bradford will confront a Hornets team coming off a 4-2 league win over Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 9-2.
