John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME), 5-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders confront the Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME) in a Class B - North challenge, on Monday, October 3. John Bapst Memorial will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME).

The Coyotes now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ellsworth for a Class B - North challenge on Thursday, October 6. Old Town will confront a Eagles team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
