The Discoverers now own a 9-20 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fremont for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 1. Columbus will face a Tigers squad coming off a 15-8 league loss to North Star (Lincoln, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 25-10.

With the loss, Lincoln High falls to 7-17 on the campaign. The Links travel to Pius X (Lincoln, NE) to face the Thunderbolts in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 1. The Thunderbolts enter the challenge with a record of 17-18. Pius X won 11-5 in their recent league challenge against Norfolk (Norfolk, NE)
