The Whitewater Wildcats softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Jackson Red Devils to 2 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Whitewater moves its record to 23-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Lassiter (Marietta, GA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Saturday, October 1. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 16-3. Lassiter won 12-2 in their recent league game against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA)

Next up, the Red Devils meet the Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA) in a 3A Region 2 battle, on Tuesday, October 4. Jackson will attempt to advance on its 10-9 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 6-10 record after their 12-0 league loss to Pike County (Zebulon, GA).
