The Bethlehem Central Eagles held off the host Averill Park Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's league test.

The Eagles now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colonie Central for a Section 2 Suburban - Grey test on Thursday, October 6. Bethlehem Central will confront a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 3-5.

The Warriors (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Flying Dutchman enter the Section 2 Suburban - Grey test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Guilderland held off Fort Plain (Fort Plain, NY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
