The Barrow Whalers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Grace Christian Grizzlies to 2 in the Whalers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Whalers now have a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anchorage Christian for a non-league game on Friday, October 7. Barrow will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK). The Lions record now stands at 2-6.

The Grizzlies (4-20) will now prepare for their game against Houston (Big Lake, AK). The Hawks enter the 3A Southcentral game with a 11-8 record. In their last game, Houston was nudged by Seward (Seward, AK), 3-1, in a league game.
