In Saturday's league battle, the host East Rochester Bombers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles.

The Bombers (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY). The Kings come into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Bishop Kearney nudged Rochester Academy (Rochester, NY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Golden Eagles clash with the Sodus Spartans (Sodus, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne County battle, on Tuesday, October 4. Clyde-Savannah will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 0-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lyons (Lyons, NY).
