The De Soto Pirates topped the visiting Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pirates now have a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cashton for a non-league test on Saturday, October 1. De Soto will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bangor (Bangor, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 8-3.
The Mustangs (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Blair-Taylor (Blair, WI). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Blair-Taylor gained a win over Melrose-Mindoro (Melrose, WI), 3-1, in a league test.
