The Warbirds (16-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Wessington Springs achieved victory over Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots (Hitchcock, SD) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 1. James Valley Christian will attempt to advance on its 9-13 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 9-11 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD).
