In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Lakota Tech Tatanka volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pine Ridge Thorpes.
The Tatanka (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Custer (Custer, SD). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, Custer defeated Santee (Santee, NE), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Thorpes encounter the Bennett County Warriors (Martin, SD) in a A Region 7 battle, on Thursday, October 6. Pine Ridge will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 1-17 record after their 3-1 league loss to Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD).
