The Lancaster Legends volleyball team (Lancaster, NY), was nudged 1-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Sacred Heart Academy Sharks (Buffalo, NY)

The Sharks (21-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Portville (Portville, NY). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 15-2 record. In their last challenge, Portville nipped Fredonia (Fredonia, NY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Legends meet the Hamburg Bulldogs (Hamburg, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 3. Lancaster will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 1-1 non-league Chautauqua Lake (Mayville, NY).
