The Water Valley Wildcats held off the visiting Miles Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Saturday's league test.
The Wildcats now have a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sonora for a 2A Region I District 5 test on Tuesday, October 4. Water Valley will confront a Broncos team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Miles (Miles, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 20-11.
The Bulldogs (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Junction (Junction, TX). The Eagles enter the 2A Region I District 5 test with a 16-9 record. In their last test, Junction was nudged by Water Valley (Water Valley, TX), 3-2, in a league test.
