With the win, Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lions host Ohio School for the Deaf (Columbus, OH) to play the Spartans in a bout on Wednesday, October 12. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-6.

The Spartans now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Patriot Prep Academy for a United bout on Tuesday, October 11.
