In Saturday's league contest, the Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) volleyball squad were winner over the host Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 1. Shady Spring will attempt to better on its 29-2 season record. The Redskins go into the contest with a 14-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Ripley (Ripley, WV).

With the loss, Parkersburg moves to 14-6 on the year. The Big reds travel to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to battle the Redskins in a Mountain State contest on Saturday, October 1.
