The Walnut Mustangs volleyball team scored 1 points and limited the host Poly Parrots to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs now have a 24-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monrovia for a non-league game on Saturday, October 1. Walnut will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Temple City (Temple City, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-9.
The Parrots (16-6) will now prepare for their game against Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Eagles enter the East Valley game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Chavez was nudged by Arleta (Arleta, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
