West Islip Lions (West Islip, NY) fans left the game content Sunday as they saw their football team nip the visiting North Babylon Bulldogs (North Babylon, NY), 35-34 in a league test.

With the triumph, West Islip improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to West Babylon (West Babylon, NY) to battle the Eagles in a Section 11 Division II test on Saturday, October 7. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 5-0. West Babylon won 36-0 in their recent league test against Northport (Northport, NY)

With the loss, North Babylon drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Smithtown East (Smithtown, NY) to battle the Bulls in a Section 11 Division II test on Saturday, October 7. The Bulls come into the test with a record of 1-3.
