In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Matoaca Warriors volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Dinwiddie Generals.

The Warriors (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Colonials come into the Central challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Colonial Heights was nudged by Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Generals meet the Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) in a Central challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Dinwiddie will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Hopewell (Hopewell, VA).
