In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host East Eagles volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Edison Tech Inventors.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Monroe (Rochester, NY). The Red Jackets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Monroe was nudged by North Rose-Wolcott (Wolcott, NY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Inventors meet the Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. Edison Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Early College (Yonkers, NY).
