The Fairfax Stampede edged the visiting Alhambra Lions flag football team by a score of 12-6 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Stampede face the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 14. Fairfax will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
The Lions (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Sierra Linda held off La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ), 12-6, in a non-league challenge.
