Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Manti Templars (Manti, UT) and the host Carbon Dinos (Price, UT), saw Manti's soccer squad hold off Carbon by a count of 2-1.

The Templars (15-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT). The Hawks enter the 3A Region 12 battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, North Sanpete was edged by Juab (Nephi, UT), 4-3, in a league battle.

Next up, the Dinos confront the Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT) in a 3A Region 12 battle, on Thursday, October 3. Carbon will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 0-16 record after their 7-1 league loss to Richfield (Richfield, UT).
