In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Clovis Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls.

The Wildcats (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Eagles enter the 5A District 4 outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Hobbs tipped Roswell (Roswell, NM), 4-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Cavemen/Cavegirls confront the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) in a 5A District 4 outing, on Saturday, October 5. Carlsbad will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Coyotes enter the outing with a 7-8 record after their 4-2 league loss to Hobbs (Hobbs, NM).
