The Fryeburg Raiders soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Lake Region Lakers to 1 in the Raiders league victory on Tuesday.

The Raiders now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Maranacook for a non-league bout on Friday, October 4. Fryeburg will play a Black Bears squad coming off a 1-1 league Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME). The Black Bears record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Lake Region moves to 1-6 on the year. The Lakers host Morse (Bath, ME) to play the Shipbuilders in a Class B - South bout on Tuesday, October 8. The Shipbuilders go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Morse lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Wells (Wells, ME)
