In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Hobbs Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Roswell Coyotes.
The Eagles (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Wildcats go into the 5A District 4 outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Clovis got by Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM), 3-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the Coyotes play the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) in a 5A District 4 outing, on Saturday, October 5. Roswell will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Cavemen/Cavegirls go into the outing with a 4-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Clovis (Clovis, NM).
