In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting St. John Paul II Lions soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Monomoy Sharks.
The Lions (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Nauset Regional got by Martha's Vineyard Regional (Oak Bluffs, MA), 3-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Sharks confront the Nantucket Whalers (Nantucket, MA) in a Cape and Islands- Lighthouse outing, on Thursday, October 3. Monomoy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
