In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the St. Michael's Horsemen.

The Blue Griffins (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Cardinals enter the A/3A District 2 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Robertson was edged by Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Horsemen battle the Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM) in a A/3A District 2 battle, on Thursday, October 3. St. Michael's will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Braves enter the battle with a 0-7 record after their 8-1 league loss to West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM).
