Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Terryville Kangaroos (Terryville, CT) and the host Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT), saw Terryville's soccer squad triumph over Shepaug Valley by a count of 8-1.

The Kangaroos (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Yellowjackets enter the Berkshire battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Gilbert was overwhelmed by Thomaston (Thomaston, CT), 6-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Spartans battle the St. Paul Catholic Falcons (Bristol, CT) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 3. Shepaug Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Watertown (Watertown, CT).
