In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Fike Demons volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons.

The Demons (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, East Wake edged Hunt (Wilson, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Falcons play the Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. C.B. Aycock will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC).
