In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Pleasant Grove Eagles.

The Wolfpack (18-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA). The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Monterey Trail was nudged by Sheldon (Sacramento, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Pleasant Grove will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the battle with a 10-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA).
