The Stars (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South (Bakersfield, CA). The Spartans enter the challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, South beat Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blades meet the West Vikings (Bakersfield, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 3. East Bakersfield will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Tehachapi (Tehachapi, CA).
