In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pomperaug Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Naugatuck Greyhounds.
The Panthers (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Masuk beat New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Greyhounds play the Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 4. Naugatuck will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
