The Alamogordo Tigers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Mayfield Trojans to 3 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Las Cruces for a 5A District 3 bout on Thursday, October 3. Alamogordo will play a Bulldawgs squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Bulldawgs record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Mayfield moves to 5-8 on the year. The Trojans host Gadsden (Anthony, NM) to play the Panthers in a 5A District 3 bout on Thursday, October 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Gadsden lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM)
