Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO) and the visiting Basalt Longhorns (Basalt, CO), saw Roaring Fork's soccer squad knock off Basalt by a count of 3-1.

The Rams (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Delta (Delta, CO). The Panthers enter the 3A Western Slope battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Delta tipped Palisade (Palisade, CO), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Longhorns battle the Vail Mountain Gore Rangers (Vail, CO) in a 3A Western Slope battle, on Thursday, October 3. Basalt will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Gore Rangers enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 2-2 league Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO).
