In Tuesday's league outing, the host Bucksport Golden Bucks soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 win over the Maine Central Institute Huskies.
The Golden Bucks (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME). The Ponies enter the Class C - North outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Foxcroft Academy tipped Sumner (East Sullivan, ME), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Huskies confront the Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) in a Class C - North outing, on Tuesday, October 8. Maine Central Institute will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
