The Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) soccer overwhelmed the host Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), 6-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Wildcats now hold a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to East Mecklenburg for a Southwestern 4A challenge on Monday, October 7. Garinger will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Butler moves to 7-8 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to encounter the Wolf Pack in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 2. The Wolf Pack go into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Parkwood won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC)
