The Edgewood Warriors soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Jefferson Area Falcons to 1 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Warriors now hold a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Chardon for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. Edgewood will play a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Madison (Madison, OH). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Jefferson Area moves to 4-9 on the year. The Falcons travel to Grand Valley (Orwell, OH) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Grand Valley won 5-0 in their recent league bout against Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH)
