With the triumph, Hoggard advances its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, October 3. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 4-8. West Brunswick lost 7-0 in their recent league test against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)

The Cougars now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laney for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, October 3. South Brunswick will clash with a Buccaneers team coming off a 8-0 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 10-4.
