Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Springdale Dynamos (Springdale, PA) and the host Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA), saw Springdale's soccer squad knock off Jeannette by a count of 3-0.

The Dynamos (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Riverview (Oakmont, PA). The Raiders enter the WPIAL A 3 battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Riverview tipped Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Jayhawks battle the St. Joseph Spartans (Natrona Heights, PA) in a WPIAL A 3 battle, on Thursday, October 3. Jeannette will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 2-11 record after their 6-1 league loss to Trinity Christian (Pittsburgh, PA).
