The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Pinelands Regional was edged by Brick Township (Brick, NJ), 5-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Lions confront the Manalapan Braves (Englishtown, NJ) in a Shore A - North battle, on Wednesday, October 2. Middletown North will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Braves enter the battle with a 9-1 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Wall Township (Wall, NJ).
