Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Shelton moves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT) to clash with the Rams in a Southern Connecticut - Oronoque test on Monday, October 7. The Rams come into the test with a record of 8-4.

The Trojans now sport a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Guilford for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Lyman Hall will clash with a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to West Haven (West Haven, CT). The Grizzlies record now stands at 7-3.
