In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Waterbury Career Academy Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Wilby Wildcats.
The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Hawks go into the Naugatuck Valley outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Woodland Regional by Oxford (Oxford, CT), 3-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley outing, on Friday, October 4. Wilby will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Wolverines go into the outing with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT).
