The Wolfpack (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Pittston (Pittston, PA). The Patriots enter the battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Pittston was edged by Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Dallas Mountaineers (Dallas, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 battle, on Friday, October 4. Wyoming Valley West will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Mountaineers enter the battle with a 9-3 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA).
