Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA), 7-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Clinch County upgrades its record to 14-7 on the year. The Panthers travel to Irwin County (Ocilla, GA) to play the Indians in a 1A D-II Region 2 game on Wednesday, October 9. The Indians enter the game with a record of 14-3. Irwin County won 6-1 in their recent league game against Charlton County (Folkston, GA)

The Rebels now own a 7-9 record.
