The McDonald County Mustangs softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Aurora Houn Dawgs to 5 in the Mustangs non-league win on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nevada for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. McDonald County will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 11-1 league win over Aurora (Aurora, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 17-4.
With the loss, Aurora moves to 2-18 on the season. The Houn dawgs travel to Nevada (Nevada, MO) to encounter the Tigers in a Class 3 District 12 battle on Wednesday, October 2. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 16-4. Nevada won 8-0 in their recent league battle against Monett (Monett, MO)
