In Tuesday's league test, the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), by a tally of 11-0.

Next, the Bears meet the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) in a 3A Region 8 test, on Thursday, October 3. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to advance on its 19-5 season record. The Dragons go into the test with a 16-10 record after their 9-1 league loss to Monroe Area (Monroe, GA).

The Spartans (4-21) will now prepare for their test against Chestatee (Gainesville, GA). The War Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-20 record. In their last test, Chestatee prevailed over Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA), 14-0, in a non-league test.
