In Tuesday's league test, the Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Christian Heritage Lions (Dalton, GA), by a tally of 9-0.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 7 test, on Wednesday, October 2. Dade County will attempt to advance on its 21-5 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 17-9 record after their 26-5 league win over Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA).

The Lions (6-15) will now prepare for their test against Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA). The Trojans go into the 1A D-I Region 7 test with a 22-2 record. In their last test, Gordon Lee prevailed over Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA), 12-0, in a league test.
