The Grain Valley Eagles softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Fort Osage Indians to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 28-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chrisman for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. Grain Valley will encounter a Bears team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Truman (Independence, MO). The Bears record now stands at 5-17.

With the loss, Fort Osage moves to 10-15 on the season. The Indians host Platte County (Platte City, MO) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 14-5. Platte County won 18-1 in their recent league battle against Raytown (Raytown, MO)
