Georgia High School Softball - Jonesboro succumbs to Griffin

In Tuesday's league test, the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA), by a tally of 18-0.

Next, the Bears meet the Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA) in a 4A Region 3 test, on Wednesday, October 2. Griffin will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 22-2 record after their 12-0 league win over Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA).

The Cardinals (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Northside (Columbus, GA). The Patriots go into the 4A Region 3 test with a 23-2 record. In their last test, Northside prevailed over Griffin (Griffin, GA), 10-0, in a league test.
